Alton Cycle Hire and the neighbouring Cafe are situated on Alton Reservoir, which contains some of the most beautiful scenery in Suffolk. Just a few examples are on display in our Photo Gallery, but you'll have to visit to experience the amazing tranquillity and calm that it has to offer for yourself.

Of course, the best way to see the sights from every angle, is by cycling round our designated cycle track, which allows you to see the best views of the reservoir and the wildlife. But if you don't have a bike, don't worry, that's what we're here for. We provide a range of cycles and accessories, from ordinary mountain bikes to Go-carts, and from cycle helmets to spare parts. When you've finished your trip round the course, you can relax and have a bite to eat at our friendly cafe. We serve drinks, sandwiches, meals and even sweets for the kids. We also sell a range of souvenirs, such as ornaments, paintings, framed photographs and postcards, so you have something to remember your time at Alton Reservoir.
